Anthony Vargas is the Of Counsel Trial Attorney at the Law Office of Angelo J. Reyes, APC, where he strengthens the firm’s litigation and trial practice. Anthony began his career with the San Diego Public Defender’s Office, where for more than five years he tried countless misdemeanor and felony cases and built a reputation as a relentless courtroom advocate.

 

He has been recognized nationally for his trial skills, including receiving the American College of Trial Lawyers Medal for Excellence in Advocacy multiple times—a distinction awarded to top trial advocates across the country. In addition to his practice, he teaches trial skills to law students at California Western School of Law and to practicing attorneys through the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA). He takes pride in telling his clients’ stories with power and clarity, ensuring their rights are protected and that they receive the justice they deserve.
